Need new sprockets and chain. Help me decide....

Ok, my chain is way too stretched. I don't know if I'm going to have enough thread on the tensioners to tension it temporarily.

Anyway, I guess I'm going to replace both the front and rear sprockets as well as get a new chain. I don't do much expressway riding, but like to jump on it here and there and if necessary. So I want e-way riding to still be doable and comfortable. I would like more low/mid end grunt also without putting toooo much strain on the engine.

I'm thinking either 14 or 15t front sprockets and I'm not sure what rear sprocket I should get. I was thinking going either 14/42 with a 110 link chain, or 14/45 with a 112 link chain. Or should I just keep the rear stock at 39t?

Basically, I want a little more get up, to still be expressway rideable, and have minimal extra engine wear. What should I do?

15t and stock rear works for me. i commute and play on twisties. the interstate is something i stay away from since it sucks. 15t + interstate is fine. 14t + interstate = higher rpm's. 14t + 42t + interstate = much higher rpms.

you may not need a new rear cog at all. just check for broken teeth and 'sharks tooth' teeth. 110 links will work fine for a 15t front, stock rear.
