what filter does everyone use?

autozone carries STP SMO-00 which comes with an o ring, works fine for me.
'01 GS500. Mods: Katana Shock, Progessive Springs, BobB's V&H  Advancer Clone, JeffD's LED tail lights & LED licence plate bolt running lights, flanders superbike bars, magnet under the bike. Recent mods: Rejet with 20/62.5/145, 3 shims on needle, K&N Lunch box.

But the suggestion that suzuki will take full responsibilty for engine failure on any of their bikes of any age/condition if a OEM filter fitted by a DIY mechanic fails is impossible to believe.

The bike didn't have many miles on it so I am unaware if that affected their decision...

i run the emgo filter i just get it at the local napa
