I had to use this diode kit: http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.ProductDetail/catID/16/scID/114/IMID/719   to get my turn signal indicator lamp to function.

I also had to use this balancer kit too: http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.ProductDetail/catID/16/scID/114/IMID/718  I installed it to the back lights and that allowed them to blink. Before that all they would do is just turn on,

I had to use the relay that was previously shown to not all flash at once.

Hope this makes the muddy water a little better!

well i hooked up one side of the tailight turn signal and it works fine but hook both up and it sounds like i'll need the diode kit... where exactly did you install the diode kit at on the bike??

The diode kit is installed to the turn signal indicator. So, you gotta take the gauge apart to get to it. I hated that part! Broke the bulb getting it out then realized I actually didn't need to do that! LOL.
Also, open up the pdf on the kuryakurin website and gives a good description on install.
Hope that helps.

You can probably get them at any bike shop that is near to you. That is what I did. Saved time and a little money

QuoteAfter adding a diode between the indicator light and the signals i now have working signals, indicator and they flash at stock speed

can you be more specific... do you mean you have on load equalizer in the signal indicator on the dash?

i have the same issue, and seeing as I installed everything at the end of last season, I just wired in the stock rear signals and packed 'em under the seat to get me through until spring when its warm enough to figure out whats happening.  :o

I wired the load equalizer in to the left and right rear flashers as per the instructions that came with the part.  that gave me 4-ways.  the diode wires in between the indicator light and the signals. fixed the 4-way problem..

hope that clears things up a little

I have an integrated led tail-signals, and short stalk regular fronts. I used a automotive flasher like the one shown above, and it worked fine, no wiring anything else up, no wiring to screw up on. so easy my 5 year old could've done it for me.

If I understand you correctly you still have a pair of regular filament signals right? Those provide just enough resistance to keep everything going. That is what happened when I first installed the front signals. then installing back ones is where i ran into to all of the fun!

Hope that helps some!

I wired up my rear led turn signals tonight.  Stock wiring, and they blink like they should.  I'll let you know what happens when I wire up the fronts.

I actually wired mine up acording to the provided wiriing diagram..... (nuff said). I didnt work same problem steady light. unplugged reversed wires and bam blinkidy blink..

see the problem with putting diode kits in is you may have just left the standard indicators on as they are brighter than leds and due to the diode you are still using the same amount of battery  power, the one way i found round this was to do a little rewiring at the turn signal indicator just below the speedo/tacho, i also put on a full post of instructions how to do this and what you needed and also included modified wiring diagrams, so if you do a search for led you should find it and it will sort out all your problems.
