i know it has been a post in the past but if you were going to buy a new/ replacement for the current one what would you get?  would you actually replace it or add to the stable?

i would look at a small motard for local riding.  the yamaha or kawasaki

If I were replacing my current bike, the CBR1000RR would be the replacement. If I were moving up from a GS500, then I would go with a 600 super sport.

I can not own a motard for in town commuting...I would wiknd up in jail way too much invitation too hooliganism.
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

I really really love my Gs500 but I was looking at the GS650F. It looks just like my boy but all growed up! LOL.

I haven't really heard anyone talk about it here but eh what the heck!

I've been eyeing the SV650...I'd love to keep two in the barn, but I couldn't justify paying insurance on two machines.

2005 SV650 with the Buell headlight setup.  And upgraded seat.  And upgraded suspension.  And lowered foot pegs.  And risers.

or

Stock 2007 FZ6.

The two would cost about the same.

I only have room for one bike, so it will replace the GS500.
