Alrighty, here I am in my old Aux uniform. I really loved those days wish my heart would have held out. As is life  :thumb:

Sorry this isn't so good had to use the timer on tri-pod then run photography! Flick told me that if you poke fun at his mirrors he won't play in the picture game anymore. Sporting "78 Honda mirrors!

Ha!  There ya go!  I'll give you guys a choice.  How about a pic of your bike in front of a fire truck with some firemen around with a dalmatian?  I always liked fire trucks!  Or, get a pic of you on your bike, and a cop in uniform with a doughnut in his mouth pretending to write you a ticket!  :thumb:  Lawman could pull that off!

Didn't we already do that one?  I'm outta commission for awhile just had surgery to take out the port today. But, maybe after three days or so it hasn't been done look out. I live right behind one!

Actually, now that I think about it I think I did make that challenge and a Canadian did it. Sorry, to tired/lazy to search this evening the drugs are still wearing off!

Sorry, Mary.  I searched "fire truck" and "firetruck" and turned-up nothing, so I didn't think it had been done.  Ok, let's do the cop pretending to write you a ticket, without the doughnut if you guys object.

It's ok it will work I got yours today by chance. Just happened to be across the street from the Walgreen's where I was waiting for my scripts. I'm the lucky winner of Bronchitis and a nasty sore throat. Weather was just to nice to not ride!

Take a picture of your Gs by a fire truck or ambulance! Only thing creative I could think of cause I feel like krap!

Mary

Yup, I knew I wasn't on that many drugs! Oh well I am why hide it! I wannna ride :icon_sad: . I think it should be a law that you cannot get sick when it is 82 and sunny out! Christ I was sick and that one up above too! Can't I get a break!

I also added ambulance though so the firetruck could still work. Esp. if they only had the yellow pants on with no shirts and a six pack! Oh, now that turns me on any man in uniform really! And "don't say it's ghey I'm a girl and it's not ghey to look at boys" anyone remember that quote? How I feel on the board at times

There seems to be a lot of chatter on what is an exciting PICTURE thread !! At least us Canadians LIKE to drive our bikes and not pose-and just wait until this latest 2 inches of snow we got this morning melts (and the temp rises just a wee bit) WE will take over !

I've ridden about 500 miles so far this year.  Yes, we measure miles because this is America, not Canuckistan!  I'm hoping to go 1,000 before Easter, and I'm right on the other side of the lake... the SNOWY side of the lake!  Stop taunting us Americans before I come up there and make you drink a Genny Light!

Ha, "before I come up there and make you drink a Genny Light!" Well said...

So you're French and Canadian, So you're obnoxious and dull.  I can tell the French side. ... You have that proud expression, that superior look, and I can smell your crotch from here.

Just Playing,

If you don't like it leave your igloo, go outside and fire up you generator, raise the antenna and reply with some POS american joke that most of us probably wont get anyway... :dunno_black:

Toogoofy317

Well, I guess this one isn't going to happen. Everytime I ride by the station they are gone. I think it is a conspiracy!

Sooooo, what now  :dunno_white:

Too pretty down here to not have an easy one to do. I don't dare go up to a cop to ask 'can you pretend you're giving me a ticket' cause knowing my luck I'll get the real deal

I don't think so An. I think once I specified but usually nope doesn't have to be AFIAK! But, I will take off a little early for work this afternoon and see if the firestation guys are there! I'd like to meet 'em anyhow cause they've come and took me to the hospital a couple of times. Once was really bad sooo I'd like 2 thank them!

Just between you and me this is the internet...it's not really a place. Mais ça c'est la problème avec quelques Américans, ils pensent que l'États Unis c'est la seulement place avec des choses universel. Je pense que c'est la faut de la mauvais bière... je ne sais pas.

Now it is time to shot down miles. This is my professional opinion as a Junior Engineer:

Miles are dumb.

1 mile = 63360 inches = 5280 feet = 1760 yards = 8 furlongs = 0.33 leagues.

And Kilometers Rock:

1 kilometres = 1000 metres = 100,000 centimetre  = 1,000,000 millimetres

See how nice a organized the metric system is compared to imperial.  :thumb:

Now I will admit that it took Canada a good 20 years to change over but please refer to the below image to see who still uses the imperial system and who uses metric.

I hope you enjoyed this rant and though it did contain a picture there was no police or firefighters so once my tank is painted and on my bike I will post whatever the next picture request is and one with a cop/firefighter, if it has already been done, to make up for ranting.

Yea, well at least we drive on the right side of the fricken road euro trash... LOL...

Ah, your right, KM better than Miles, we get it... :nono:

Oh and thanks for the graphic, I don't think I would have gotten it if you said 98% of the world....

Its nearly two weeks since this challenge was set... Time for a change perhaps?  To keep the game going!

Bit different in the air or on the sea, where most countries use nautical miles, because 1 NM = one minute of latitude.
I measure distance on my GS in 'smiles' because its not about how far you go, but how much fun you have getting there!

I agree, nautical miles are the far superior length measurement. At least it is based on an actual measurable quantity, not just some random length like the foot or the meter. Perhaps I should change my speedometer gauge face to read in knots... Of course, the metric snobs out there would then argue that latitude is a stupid concept and start trying to measure position in radians...

Perhaps you should look into the history of the metre. It began as 1/10 000 000th the distance from the North Pole to the equator, nothing random about that.

ohgood

how about killing the idiotic chatter about where you live and just take a picture already ?

I nominate -insert-moderator-name-here- to clean this really cool thread of the noise.

I think the OP's rules say that if the challenge is not completed within a  week then a new challenge should be selected.

First Post.... "Try not to make it impossible. no photochops. If nobody else gets the picture within 1 week the person that picked it can choose a new one.  New challenge must be picked when picture of the last one was posted"            :dunno_black:

Time for new challenge,  :woohoo:
