When asking for advice or tips on how to fix something.  Dont have your mind made up already that its not a certain thing.  No matter how good you think you are you may have missed something and thats why your having your problem.  If you were and expert you wouldnt be asking for advice and/or tips on how to fix the problem.   Disclaimer:  This is not directed at anyone person this goes for everyone even myself.

Make sure you pay attention to your GF when shes talking to you.

that is a good idea.  My tip for the week would be

get the credit card statement out of the mailbox before your wife sees it

Always warm the pot before you put the coffee/tea in.

Never run backwards through a cornfield with no pants on.

Don't try to run from the cop's cuz I'll be PI$$ed when i come to scrape you off the pavement

Don't over torque your nuts.  Actually, its good advice anytime.
