float height?
+1 float height was my first thought.  Can't think of anything else.

Not float height, it is choke cable tension. As your handlebars turn, it pulls the cable and changes the mixture. My bike does it all the time, but my bike doesn't have a steering stop, so when I park it, the bars turn further than they were ever designed to. When I'm trying to park in my usual really really tight parking spot, I actually have to get on the gas a bit to keep the bike from stalling out because I turn the bars all the way until my hand is touching the tank. Not having a steering stop is handy for really tight parking situations, but kind of annoying any other time. If your bike still has the steering stop intact, you just need to adjust your choke cable to be a bit looser...

You gotta read between the lines Josh.  When the front wheel is off the ground it will turn as there is only one disc and caliper.  This turns the bars to the right, pulling the choke cable if it has not enough slack or is routed incorrectly.

Then again, if you want to instantly blame carbs for everything like many of you do, go ahead.  Yes, carbs are something that require some attention if the bike's been ridden a lot, neglected, or engine flow is deliberately increased, but there are weaker and simpler pieces to the puzzle that should be looked at first, not last.

I think Fred is right yet again.

Shouldnt someone actually ASK the OP if the speed increases as the front end moves and get the big picture before making assumptions and jumping to ANY conclusions.?? .........or am I just thinking too hard??
