as soon as the track opens i'm going to test my bike...i'm suprissed that nobody really knows the time since not a lot of people go with their GS...i asked this question like a month ago and someone told me that stock runs about 14 sec and some with mods (exhaust, k&n ignition advancer and rejet) runs about 13.6

Seriously, the 1/4-mile time will not be impressive.  
GS's are apparently a blast to race _against other bikes in their class_.  But they're no speed demons.  Sometimes velocity and fun are unrelated.  It's the fun turning that brings-on that ear-to-ear GS500 smile
