Anyone ever try to fit up an EX system on a GS? They have to be pretty close. Plus, everyone still makes a system for the EX. One of you racers must have tried this at one point.

Do a search, we had a heated discussion about this maybe a week or two ago.

So it does fit. I was wondering more if it fit in the exhaust port area rather than the way it looked. A little heating and bending OR cutting and re-welding and that pipe could be tucked up nice and tight under neath. :thumb:

why do you want to put a EX exhaust on it...??
it's heavier and basically provides the same power....
and IMO...it's uglier than the stock GS pipe
wileyco, K&N pod, rejet 22.5/65/147.5, F16 flyscreen, progressive springs, 15t front sprocket...more to come: katana shock

because there are alot more aftermarket companies making them for the EX than the GS. which means  there are more available and probly cheaper, besides the vance and hines sucks in my opinion.

If you're talking about the stock systems then this does not apply as I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust.

There is nothing uglier than the stock gs pipe, sorry

If I were you I would look into getting an aftermarket can and welding it to the stock pipe as a cheaper solution to your search, especially if you ever plan to attend a track day.  If you mount an exhaust as low as Javio's, you'll leave it on the track when you lean over to corner.
