Yeah...I tore the whole thing apart...wheels, calipers, rotors...everything down to the shafts.  Unpossible otherwise.

10-30 is fine in the cooler weather, if all you're doing to to-and-fro'ing.  If you start beating her hard, and when it starts to get hot out, run 15-40 or 20-50.  I ran 15-40 mostly year round.

Hmmm, I could swear I saw that all you had to do was take the 12 bolts out yank the old axle out put the new in and pop the 12 bolts back in at 30 lbs/ft I'll ask the guys on pelican.  Hell it'll be easier to see what I'm doing with the wheel and shaZam! out of the way so I'll probably just go out and buy some stands   Gotta go find this damn triple square anyway.

I took the wheel off, but other than that it was just those 12 bolts.  11 came out pretty easily and the 12 one fought like hell and I ultimately popped my f%$king shoulder out of joint trying to get it out    All in all it took about 3 hours and a f%$k ton of ibuprofen. 

Bike is still for sale, will consider partial trades on a variety of crazy shaZam!.

I'm going to look at an sv1000 this weekend, if that falls through I'll be in the market. What's the story on your bike? Anything need done? Problems?

i wish i would have found this post about a month or two ago, i just spent all my money on fixing up my gs. DOH! and i'm in columbia, so that would have made it easy. 

Don't really need the cash, so I'm open to all sorts of trades.  Mostly firearms and ammo.  I'd do a straight up trade for an H&K USP Tactical with original equipment or partials on all sorts of short barrel revolvers.  Interested in non AR-15 assault rifles also, think FNFAL.

I'll consider almost anything though, just let me know what you have to trade.

So I take it the guy who had cash in hand didn't really pan out?

He had cash alright, 1k.  When he asked to test ride it and I said I'd need cash in my hand for that to happen he produced the cash.  I told him to get the f%$k out of my sight.

Where exactly is "on da island" and how much are you looking to get now?  There's a guy on caferacer.net that's looking for a daily rider.
