This is mine, it looks photo shopped, but it's not. Whenever the bike is parked outside, she jumps on it and takes a dump. Needless to say I don't leave it outside much.

My hens would be unlikely to get up on the bike, unless I parked it down at the coop. The rooster would be more likely to, but has not so far. I'd shoo them off if they did, as they have no sense of where not to excrete.

Man, r'gal doesn't know a hen from a chicken. Here's a chicken pic (I think it's the right breed)

What's the matter with the rest of you, are you ashamed of your hens?

i have a cat in my nay bore hood that likes to jump on my bikes tank and get tossed across the yard.  I honestly think thats the highlight of its day.  Oh and nice 08 oj.  I have tyhe same one. Having difficulty getting the sticker on the tank off as well?  I cant get a picture of it. I hate cats but i like this one for some reason.  a resiliant little bastard/Buddha Loves You it is.

Alright!---Only had it two weeks, but managed to put 1500 miles on it. No luck with the stickers so far, made a mess of two of them---the fragments look worse than the stickers. I haven't used any of the suggested chemical sticker removal agents yet----I fear damage to the flawless paint job.

PS. Don't be too rough with the Kitty, I used to hate cats as well, now I have 3, and think they are terrific.

What products are you looking at?  I've used Goo-b-gon on my cars to remove any stickers or dealership logos and have never had a problem.  However, those were all above the clear coat, and I have no clue how the stickers are setup on your bike.

The bottle comes with a plastic scraper and is perfect for working under the sticker to get the chemical under to release the adhesive.

Thought of that ( have a bottle somewhere ), maybe I'll test it on an inconspicuous area of the bike. Thanks for the info. Nick.

No problem!  And just to reiterate, I've never done it on a bike so have no clue how the plastic fairings would hold up.  So I would really recommend testing first! lol

I removed stickers from my urethane bumpers, and from almost every body panel on my civic with no issues.

i tired som goo gone...didnt quite work. i fear it may be that its been baked on sittign under the hot sun for possibly thousands of hours further complicating the matter. If onlyi wouldve removed said stickers directly after purchase, this would'nt've (<<Lol)  been such a chore.  eh oh well.  time to go riding.

I've used two methods with success:

1: Heat gun.  Heat the snot out of the sticker, then roll it off.  I did this to the SV, because I bought a heat gun for other reasons, and it worked like an absolute champ.

2: Goo-gone (not Goof-off - different stuff) - but it only works on the residual adhesive after you've peeled the stickers off (I use a razor blade for that, but I have very steady hands - use at your own risk).  Soak the sticker with Goo-gone, then wait for a minute or so before applying elbow grease via a soft cloth.

Keep going at it with the Goo Gone, it will eventually get all the adhesive off. If you have any mineral spirits around it will work too. neither one will harm the paint or the plastic underneath. If you want to soak the sticker for a while, just soak a rag in the solvent of choice, place it over the sticker or adhesive residue  you want to remove, and place some aluminum foil over the rag to keep the solvent from evaporating.

I tried peeling mine off as soon as I got it home, so that's not the solution. These stickers laughed and scoffed at several applications of goo gone. I think I'll try the heat gun method next---let you know how that turns out.

Well roadstergal, I gotta hand it to you, It was a little scary at first but the heat gun worked like a charm-----clean as a whistle with no residue.

I don't know about yours shiz, but my heat gun gets real hot real quick. Just move it around on the label in a constant motion so it doesn't get too hot.
