Whats a complete kat 600 fe going for this time of yr  will need a modded stem from buddha or press the gs stem in.  Just checking to see if theres anyone interested in one if i get my hands on it.

You can do spacers you reuse everything with that method.

The stem off the GS can be installed in the kat lower, but it will end up costing you more than machining the kat triple.
Pulling the GS stem will invariably need unseating of the bottom bearing. That means you have to replace it. You also need to make a 20mm OD, 17mm ID (if I remember) and 10mm log sleeve for the stem nut thread boss and use the GS stem bolt.

Machining the stem is all I would do, and I'll do it on your stem if you send me, 50 bucks is what that cost me per stem last year. I ahve 2-3 swappers, I may just send that instead when you send me your stem ... cos I am really going to have to collect up 2-3 for the guy to make it worthwhile for him and me.

Legs, calipers and master cyl and lines, disk set, axle, triples and bar fittings ... I dunno, 300 bucks or less I'd guess. But the stuff you will need to mod off the GS etc can add up. Headlght ears need spreading and welding ... stem ... guage carrier ...
