Ok, like the title reads, cool bikes only...

First and foremost, Jim Knopf's (Knopf means button in German) bike takes the cake as far as the GS goes.  In my eyes, it's in a class of it's own.  The highest class.  The best another GS can hope for is to ride along side it.  There can be no better...  But you know the Germans, they make great stuff!

Here is a link to his member page at bikepics.com if you want to see more pics... - http://www.bikepics.com/members/jimknopf/

Or you can check out his profile here on the forum - http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?action=profile;u=1027

Next up is the bike that i'd give credit to me wanting to build a chopper.  Before seeing it, i never really fancied the idea.  I was more of a, "sport bike" orientated guy.  But the back story on these Mutant Buells intrigued me and so it began.  I'm still not a fan of all choppers, but i do love the long and low sexy look of the pro-streets...

This one was a total random find.  I had Googled something, something not even related to motorcycles and it just popped up.  Weird.  Anyways, it's pretty dam cool and i think a must see.  And as it turns out, this guy only lives about a hours ride away...  Road Trip!  I just gotta see it up close and in person if i can...

Note to self...  Update will...  Donate bones to a project bike...

Google, "skeleton motorcycle" if you ain't scared!

And last but not least, i just found this one tonight and it spurred me on to start this thread so it gets an honorable mention.  It's not perfect, but really f%$king cool.

Can't you just hear all the Ducati purists cussing up a storm, lol

You guys obviously can see where my tastes lie.  And beauty is in the eye of the beholder but...  I showed you mine, now show me yours!

the only kewl looking HD i have ever seen
Tom Walker rolled sheet metal into 5" OD tubes to make the frame, and the frame holds fuel down to the level of the rear brake mastercylinder. The frame section under the seat is the oil tank. Wheels and forks are from an FZR600 Yamaha.

Wow. That bike is EPIC.

I can just image having a liter bike try to race you on the freeway...and getting DESTROYED.

worst CBX story
Georges son was racing a CBX at Rockingham(the old nascar trackin the mid 90's) and coming out of turn 4 he ventilated the number 5 connecting rod out the block
that fu*ker left a oil slick all the way to turn 2...it took us 2-3 hrs to clean up the mess
then he laughed and said that the engine was a yard engine...bike was sitting under a tree for years with the carbs off....there was still green mossy slime in the intake ports
