Hi folks, My names is Ryan and while not being a new rider, this is one of my first posts...

I live in the N.E. and am considering going naked and changing out some other points of interest (i.e. bars, mirrors) for a street fighter look...  Parts are hard to come by but I paint for a living so I'm cool with general body work... any advice or pics/links would be greatly appreciated....

P.S. anybody got a used pair of rear sets or know where I can find an exhaust adapter?  Money is tight and my wife leaves for Iraq soon  :2guns: so I'd like to get my project underway...

Hi,

What year bike are you starting out with? Does it have any modifications already?

Sorry about the wife...but...I honor her service for our country. :thumb:

Here's a nice naked GS500.

I hope you realize that being on a motorcycle you're pretty much invisible to the surroundings , and with those flush mounts and integrated stop light/signals you're like non-existent...
sorry for thread jack but I just want you to realize that you need to make your motorcycle visible, NOT invisible...
