I've noticed when most folks mention jet kits they mention something about 140 mains or whatever... do most folks install the Factory (the company Factory, not OEM) or Dynojet.  I noticed on my Dynojet Stage 3 kit, the highest number it came with was a 130-something main.  Just wondering where everyone is getting this 140 main from...

Thanks.

140 Main is probably a Mikuni jet.  Suzuki comes with mukini jets stock, and many stick with that, even when changing jet sizes.

I think a lot of people prefer the Factory kit because it doesn't require you to drill the slides. I have the Dynojet stage III kit in my bike that I installed according to Dynojet's instructions and it runs good. After I did the install, one of my mechanic friends who races old GSX-Rs told me I should have gone with the Factory kit. Then another mechanic at a local shop said as long as I followed the instructions it will be fine and that Dynojet had it pretty well figured out.  So I guess it's fairly safe to assume either kit will give you an improvement over stock.

In the past I had trouble installing the Dyno kit. I ended up using miquni jets and doing it that way

The 140 and such that people are discussing are stock Mikuni jet sizes, not Dynajet or Factory. The Mikuni stuff is cheap and easily available.

Doesn't Factory's GS kit use stock Mikuni jets, and Dynojets are proprietary?  BTW, Factory has what appears to be an excellent tech guide on their site for dialing in carbs--  jetting, needle placement, and float settings.  I would include the link here, but they're somewhat (understandably) sensitive about it.  I intend to follow it when it warms up here.
