sinds yesterday my front disk is making a scraping sound,
taking a good look at the disk it has two paths of scratches on in the middle and on the inside of the disk outside the diskpath.
taking a good look at the pads they seem to be halfway ( fisher pads ) the scratches are caused by the bridge that pusches the brake pads on the disk.
this bridge has two supports to keep the outside pad in place, these supports scratch the disk.
what can be the problem., simply worn out pads? they look alright...

found out;
the mecanic that changed the frontwheel, made an error he pushed he legs together en tightened the bolt that keeps the axel in place,
he forced the legs out of line and tightened the bolt down at the axel.
because the front brake is obviously conneted to the leg the brace and even bolts that keeo the brake in place scartch the disk because there out of line.
and everybody was just looking at that brake all the time,..

Oh yea lose a sapcer ... quickest way to lose a set of forks, a disc and caliper, a tire and maybe a set of bearings ... and if you're really unlucky ... some major body parts. Not that I ever do that ... never ... never ever ... ever ... OK screw that, I lost one last year when I had to do the forks for bent bike when they were still on the truck ... the damn thing rolled down the driveway, into the street, got knocked into the drain grate and ... gone. Man did it wobble like a MOFO.
Cool.
