Rickyz, it's a simple cover for starter relay and fusebox. Pure handmade crap, should I say.

Seat is r6 seat I shortened a bit. I'm suprised how comfortable it is. Better, and bit higher, than original GS seat.

Hi there.

I have also seen you on .ORG. Love your new exhaust.

Maybe we should gather together, put up some GStwin Finland club?

Not a bad idea, but dont know if there are so many GStwin enthusiasts in Finland :dunno_white:

I think I have counted 3 GS500 owners at .ORG (popular finnish motorcycle forum, note to foreigns!), including us  :icon_mrgreen:

Gotta love lanesplitting with that license mount? But that's one way to hide the hideous thing.  Only see it from one side.

Hey, is that a shark helmet you have, and a rsr2 absolute?

I just bought one but am afraid the whole buy online thing is going to screw me. Size wise.  Anyways, how do you like it?

-ahven-

It's Shark RSi, I think. Cheap, good and very good looking. About a year old now and sits as tight as new. It's little bit noisy but it's not a big deal.

License mount is barely legal. Just waiting for the police to pull me out:)

KIMI

Nice bike :icon_razz: try go for digital tach from vapor.

I really like original, mechanical tachometer. It's kind of race'ish :bs:

Instead I need new speedo. Current one doesn't have light and it's detached, free to steal.

Like your bike's tail KIMI, from what bike it is?

Some brake update:

It's a brake disc from GSF 1200 Bandit. Fits perfectly without any mods. It has bit larger area for cooling than the original disc.

Was cheap too...

Today I changed smaller front sprocket 16T -> 14T.

It's now like new bike, takes 100mph easily (even when sitting normally, no need to go to egg postion) and acceleration on 6th gear is amazing.
Also drilled two 10 millimeter holes in back cone of the muffler. My tiny little gs sounds now "GS with Barry White in it" O0

It's amazing how little mods can make so much.... :woohoo:

Hey, the bike looks great. I swapped an R1 tail on mine as well, but yours looks WAY cleaner. Did you figure anything out for a good undertail? that's where I'm stuck on mine at the moment.

I have to say I liked the dual headlights better, but I just have a thing for dual headlights. Are they the dominators? What did you do to mount the seat cowl on the back? is it actually brakes to hold a seat, or did you just attach the cowl to the tail?

I tried a bicycle speedo once, there was too much lag when you were changing speeds, and they're kinda iffy at higher speeds.

Good job!

Took couple pics from that tail:http://img294.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=26072009503.jpg
Try to figure out how it's done...
Undertail is original R6 -04 part.
Seat cowl is removable and it is also possible to use passengers seat on same mount. I don't think it can take passenger on because there are not any special support under the seat/ cowl.

I've been searching for better looking headlight but still haven't found. Black dominators, maybe...

I like my bicycle speedo, shows exactly the same speed as my GPS. Go for a Sigma meter.

Drilled third hole to exhaust, sounds superb. Like god farting trough saxophone.

I strongly commend.

-ahven- One of nicer mods I've personally seen to the GS. Love the polished rims. It's hard to get a good perspective of them in your pictures though most pictures are in over cast. Love to see them in the bright sun light  :thumb: . I saw the outer part of the rims polished the other day by jrains89 for the first time and I loved them, now I need to decide which I like better!

I'll take better pics for you soon, mate. I just have to clean up those wheels, they are quite shitty at the moment and also have to wait for that sunny day for perfect pics. Maybe I have time for that tomorrow on my workplace.
