Hey everyone,
I live in Bellingham WA and I would like to meet up with someone that knows lots about carbs and can teach me to work on mine. I am very mechanically inclined but I'm seriously lacking in carb experience. I've checked out the post about carbs on this page but really need hands on lessons.  I am willing to travel up to about 2 hours to meet. Any help would be appreciated.

You dont need help  :D If you are ready and willing to take them off the bike, the rest is easy. I never worked on carbs either but the GS carbs are easy  :thumb: there are some good how-tos to follow on here and the WiKi... just be careful not to loose any little bits, buy some good Suzuki brand carb cleaner and you will be good to go  :thumb:

Take EVERYTING appart (keep good track of where it came from), Inspect the diaphams well for holes, clean well and re-assemble  :thumb: Its not hard at all.

I'm in Oly if you ever wanna ride. I can help with your carbs but like scottpA said there's plenty of great how-to guides on here.

"The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one."
