Yeah, I couldn't get a rattle can to match perfectly. It's a good way to start though. I just can't afford the Suzuki Blue paint from color rite is $33.95 for a rattle can they also say it requires a base coat to match perfectly! This cost $3.35 at Lowes! Does anyone know where to get the Candy Grand Blue for cheaper? Was thinking of going to the body shop that did my car and see if they can mix me some stuff.

I really like that painted chain guard.

This is a long shot, but is there any place you could take a paint chip of the color, have them analyze it and make you up something close? I think they used to do this for free at the local home improvement stores but it was used for wall paint... I think part of the issue too is that most of Suzuki's colors are more than 1 stage.

I want to do some paint too, except I'm too much of a perfectionist and would need to to match exactly... or do something to "disguise/blend" if it didn't.     So I plan to use reflective vinyl stickers in a "easy" match color, like black.

Cafeboy's cowl is pretty sweet too... I just think white (at least in the pics) looks "undone" or closer to what one of those "grippy" passenger covers would look like in white minus the grippy. Pinstriping would be cool.

Not to threadjack, but I'm going to try to do my own one piece solo seat by destructing a seat and fiberglassing off its base so its got firm anchor points and will fit well... as soon as I get a seat to experiment on.    I'm thinking of this for inspiration: http://images38.fotki.com/v1221/photos/5/525819/6174903/GSXR10007800x600-vi.jpg

Well you can paint the cowl in lots of colors or pin stripe or decal and what not.
IF I COULD FRAME MY MIND---WHERE WOULD IT HANG ?

They have some rattle can colors that you can get at pepboys, autozone, o'reilys, etc. by DUPLI-COLOR and another company cant think of it right off the top of my head, thay should be a little closer, and also you may want to check out a hobby store, they have some small rattle cans of awesome colors to use on models by TESTORS. I used some to paint some models of my 68 cuda before I decided what color to paint it. They make metalics, pearls, all kinds of stuff.
