Man that was alot of fun and I got so much info from it. Helped me big time with control on my bike.Now i can scrape pegs on most curves witch i didnt think i would ever be able to do. Got to ride a little cbr230 and man those bikes are fun. Bet they would be a blast in town and there so light they really turn nice

Anyway if you havnt taken the class do it cuz its a blast

O.C.D.

I finished mine this last Sunday and I concur; the class is worth it for noobs.  I have ridden dirt since I was like 13.  Street is way different and there are many more variables to be aware of.

Funny you mentioned the pegs thing.  Before the class I was literally afraid to lean the bike too far.  I have NOW learned that the bike will go farther than you want it to.

MSF = worth the $.

Well done, hope you have many years of safe riding ahead. Is a CBR230 anything like a CRF230 trail bike? or is this a new release from Honda I have missed?

I passed mine this weekend too! we used little GZ250's probably the only stockbike I can and will ever be able to flat foot.  It is definately worth it! We had Newbies and veteran riders in the class.  In Michigan if you can find a "public" class that is not already full it is only $25, otherwise the private classes cost all the way up to $300+  I got into a $200 class but it was well worth it!

We had Honda Rebels and Suzuki DR200 dual-sports.

Brickerenator -- I'm trying to find out if out-of-staters can take it or not....The MSF site (www.msf-usa.org) does say that the license waiver may not be acceptable in all states,and that the completion certificate doesn't transfer to all states.  It doesn't list what states it does/does not

I checked with my boyfriend who is an instructor of MSF for PA.  He said that you could take the class, but it would cost a couple hundred bucks and you woudln't get your license at the end of the course like us Pennsylvanians do.  Sorry!  I do love PA!!!

EDIT -- I just found out that the BRC course is $250 and the ERC is $150 for out of state people.  Sorry!
