anybody know if E and F front calipers are interchangable?

Are the calipers from the newer style E bikes interchangable with the F bikes.  The reason I ask is because my 97 caliper that has served me so well went nuclear at the track this weekend.  Now one piston is sticking.  I have a deal lined up on an 08 caliper but the bikebandit numbers don't match.  Are there really any differences?

I believe so.
Different pads, but they will fit and work ... I can confirm if you like tonight.

Thanks.  I'll pick up the caliper tomorrow and we'll find out for sure!

In case anybody was curious when I searched it said that 96-01 calipers were interchangable.  Surprisingly there was no info on stuff for the F.  I just finished swapping in an 08 caliper in place of a 97 caliper.  All F calipers are completely interchangable with the 96+ calipers... pads, banjo bolts, everything.

so now it's

89-95  same

96-09 same
