Hey all, 1st time posting a thread   Just heard from Buddha that my carbs will be shipped back to me tomorrow and I'm looking froward to trying them out.  Anybody else here from MD?  I'm in Towson (northern B-more) and I spend some weekends near Cumberland, looking for some new people to ride with.  All my buddies have crotch rockets, be nice to find a fellow GS-er.  Later

I'm way down in southern PG county, but I'm riding an SV650 until I can get the GS back on the road.  I don't check this site all that often, but if you want to ride sometime, send me a PM and we can figure something out.  I know some good roads down this way, and one or two closer to you.

I live in Montgomery County (grew up in PG) so I mostly ride DC/NoVA but I get to Baltimore once in a while.  Let me know if you want to meet for a ride.

I also want to plan a meet and greet lunch this summer in or around Annapolis to break bread with some fellow GSers.  I'll be asking for input on a good location, so keep an eye on the meet and greet section.

I'm not sure of the best place to stop for the lunch, but I know some good routes south of Annapolis if you want to make a ride out of it.

Hey guys.

I'm in NoVA (just barely).  Chantilly VA here- just 5 miles south of Dulles airport.  Let me know if you all go riding, I may be interested.
No GS yet......waiting for friend to give it back......
Currently on Suzuki Boulevard M50

Thanks for the replies guys.  I should have the bike back together this weekend so I'd be down for a ride soon!

Cool man, we are probably heading out for a ride Saturday if you care to join us.  A kid at work just got his first street bike (crotch rocket of course) and he has been bugging me to go riding with him.

i'm in va, but i'd go to maryland for a ride!

i was fairly close to buying a bike in frederick but it was sold already when i called... it was a sweet deal.

BaltimoreGS

What part of VA are you?  I'd like to hit Sky Line Drive at some point this summer.  One of the guys I ride with wants to do a "pie run" this weekend.  There is a country fruit market out I-70 in Hancock.  He swears it has "the best pies you will ever taste."  I'm not sure if I care to ride that far to get a pie but who knows...

im in dc, but try not to ride here if i can help it...stupid traffic everywhere.  i'll be down to ride when i get my fuel leakage sorted.  :thumb:
if you can't fix it with a hammer, it's an electrical problem.

KasbeKZ

i'm in way eastern VA but i'd love to head out to skyline for a ride. it's about 33 1/2 hours there though, so it wouldn't be much time for me on skyline itself.

i'm trying to go out there with a friend on his sv650 too, so we could have a nice little suzuki train! if i ever sell my car to get a bike...

BaltimoreGS

Short notice but there is a group of riders meeting up in Towson (north of the city) at 1pm to go for a ride today 6/6/09.  PM for directions/info.

You think that's bad?  I went to this place in Brandywine, WV for pie a couple times :)  The last time we went we found out that the lady that made the pies had a heart attack (but lived) last year and stopped making the pies :(  The peanut butter pie was amazing.  The blueberry I had last time was pretty damn good too...the ride wasn't too bad either  :thumb:
