Yeah, even though I was pissed beyond all things evil and mean. I didn't file a claim for those reasons. I was very fortunate that I found a fairing in fairly good condition for $19. Why my bike no longer has decals because this one was scratched. I went aftermarket with the LEDs and got other various things from here. Some of the greatest folks in the world. Probably, spent a couple hundred but ole boy is back in fighting spirit. Now, I protect him with my car! I did try to file a claim with my car but my deductible changed two weeks before from $500 to $1500 Esurance said they sent an e-mail I never saw it. I gotta try progressive for my car to see maybe I can get a multi vehicle discount or something!

BTW Bill, this does sound like something that would happen to me. Oh wait it did twice. I've had enough for one year!

If that report has too many incidences on it, and insurance companies won't say how many that is, your rates go up by about 40% and take several years to ease back down, or they may drop you entirely.  Also, if you have many bike incidences (Mary)  :kiss3:  and they decide to jack you, your car insurance goes up too if you have the same company, so think twice about filing claims.

I have my bike and car covered by Progressive and they're two different policies, one does not affect the other unless I pay monthly and my credit rating drops below a certain level.  May be different from state to state.  :dunno_white:

I was home visiting a few years ago, sleeping on my parent's couch, I heard crunching and scraping metal @ 3am in the morning.  I wasn't sure if I was dreaming or what was going on for a while, but I looked outside and my car was sitting at a weird angle.  I walk outside and my car, my mom's car, and my dad's car had all been side swiped parked on the street.

Luckily the guy busted his radiator when he did it and I followed the trail of antifreeze up around the corner where he crashed into the back end of another car and was laying there passed out in his car.  :2guns:
