Angeles Crest reopened (now with pics)

It took a while but for all the LA area riders Angeles Crest is now open again. It's one of Southern California's best rides if you don't know about it.

Here's a pic of an interesting set of turns near the bottom.


And near the top you're literally in the clouds watching them roll by is really eery.

I like all of the tire marks in that second photo.

Years ago we drove that road in my little triumph spitfire - I remember there was a smashed up car at one of the turnouts, looked like it had rolled a bunch of times, then been abandoned.
