Went and looked at a 2004 Suzuki Intruder 800 today wth leather side bags, a fork bag, and only 3400 miles.  The bike is almost perfect, save for a small scratch on the front fender.  No leaks.  All the chrome shines.  She starts up and idles beautifully.  I didn't ride it because I don't want the liability.

I haven't decided if I'll keep my GS also to continue using as a commuter, but my wife wanted something more comfortable for her to ride on back.

He's asking $300 below book.  I offered less.  He's chewing on it now.  Wish me luck!

Yeah, I'm seeing that based on all the research I've done on the bikes.   You gotta lift the bike up just to get the battery out.    And, it's shaft drive, so rear wheel removal will be fun.

But the bike is soooooo pretty. 

Anyways, on to the update.  The guy accepted my $3500 offer.  His wife is the owner and she's in Denver, so the title needs to go there first for signature and notary, and then I'll make the deal final.

So.....I'll probably have this nice little box stock 2007 GS for sale soon in Mesa, AZ.....7400 miles on it at the moment.

nimble as shaZam!, and really quick. its massively reliable too.
i had a C50, and the intruder's final drive is much better, has much less slop in it.

only complaint is that it runs out of gears a bit too fast, you'll be hunting for 6th gear until you get used to it.

but yea thats a good price on a great bike, im sure youll love it.
