apparently the brake light was on all night a few nights ago. i woke up to leave for work and the light was on. battery was drained enough that i had to start it by popping the clutch in first.

i took notice the last time i turned the bike off (last night), the brake light was on. i had to turn the key to the on position then back off. then the brake light stayed off.

is this normal? like maybe a parking light feature?

this is my first bike....be nice.

Yes... There is a parking light "on" just after the "off" position  :thumb:

A very common cause of many of us draining our battery  :icon_mrgreen:

Nice guitars... Do you play in a band? I have been playing for over 15 years

Yep....First mistake I made.
My ignition is real sloppy too. I have to check it (parking lite) everytime I get off the bike.
Tonite, my tach lite burnt out. I dont need that though.

I play guitar, have been since the 70's.  I Love to play !  I have a whole bunch of
guitars for different situations and tunings and a tube , 100watt 1/2 stack for
annoying the neighbors  :thumb:

There is some guitar art on the link  in my Sig, if you're interested in that stuff :icon_mrgreen:
