Humanoid, no.  Hominoid, could be.  Road Runners are definitely not indigenous to the area, nor are Jackrabbits to the island.  We have a little rule here that allows you to shoot non-indigenous animals.

If you can shoot non-native animals why didn't you open fire? My advice is to buy a good spotlight, aim it to a big clearing, and shoot between any green dots you see.
