She's up on the chopping block,  let me know if you're interested.

2003 Suzuki GSXR 1000
115XX miles
-1 up front, +2 out back, actual mileage is about 9400.
Full Yoshimura Exhaust System
BMC airfilter
Power Commander III tuned
ProTaper Bars
2007 GSXR600/750 headlight

Scary fast and scary fun.
New Pilot Power Race takeoffs mounted 190/60, great turn in , come with an extra set of tires in stock size too 190/50.

This is not just a Gixxer 1000 with no bodywork, along with the new bars came custom length brake, throttle and clutch lines, all the cooling ductwork has been rerouted as well as the electrical components that were hidden away.  This is very clean and nicely done and it shows.  Own a one of a kind beast that will thrill you to no end.

Comes with Tank bag and a huge lot of parts that were taken off during streetfighter conversion.

Asking $5,000

I am sorry, but that is exactly what it looks like to me ... albeit with dirt bike bars and cables+hoses.

Well atleast that body set, in good condition will say that this isn't a "I crashed and forgot to fix it" street fighter conversion. So it was a streetfighter out of choice, not out of neccesity.

Cool.

This is why I hate forums that allow people to post in your ads.

If you're interested in the bike, call me and I'll explain the history.   Suffice it to say it was an AMA racebike back in '03/'04, forks have been tuned, rear is back to stock, engine is nicely tuned, etc.  NOT A STOCK GSXR WITHOUT THE GODDAMN BODYWORK.  Does that explain enough?

As I said though, if you want details, PM me and I'll get you my phone number so we can talk.

Great bike, I love her, not hurting me to keep her, I just want to try something slower thus the sale.  If you have a cruiser or supermoto you want to trade, hit me up!

Hey smartdrug - just put that info in your post, it add to its appeal. It makes sense, just dont say its not a GSXR wihtout body work - say it used to be an AMA bike and what not. Dont worry about people posting this or that when you have a perfectly good reason. It should work for anyone that would be your potential customer. People asking questions isn't going to hurt your sale.

I know smartdrug for years. When he says its "not a GSXR without fairings" I know its got a good story behind it.

Good luck with the sale. I will say that it would look 1 million times better with a different headlight. That is my only gripe with the bike, other than that it looks great.

The market is just really, really bad right now. Dealers are selling brand spanking new 2008 CBR1000's for $7000.00 when they retail for $11599.00. I have seen them as low as $6800.00. How about 2009 GSX-R 1000 for $7299.00? Dealers have it bad like the rest of us. Here locally if a bike over two years old, regardless of mileage, it is selling for less than 60% of it's original value. Older bikes for even less. It will get worse before it gets better too. With dealers selling bikes this cheap new, the secondary market will feel a domino effect from it for a few years to come. Expect a devaluation to happen across the board.

Bump, I'd like this bike, but sadly,  My bike is under lien, and I can't afford another one at the moment, although I think yours would be my choice.
