wow sounds like you guys and gals have had some bad experiences.  I guess that helps me justify my rule while riding if cars are on the road to the right i take the one to the left even if i don't know where it goes.  Eventually you will hit a road that you can figure out which way to go but i guess commuting is a slightly different scenario.  I am lucky as my commute is almost completely on backroads and don't have to worry about cars shifting lanes since it is only 1 lane roads.

Ryan, call the WSP and tell them what happened, with a good description of the vehicle and the driver, aggressive driving is illegal in Washington State!

I'm not going to tell any stories because I've got too many to even start, but the unfortunate thing, is that there is not a bigger waste of time than calling the cops to tell them what just happened to you. The only time I tried,  I had a witness, a perfect description, a car make, model, and license plate number. All they had to do was take 20 seconds to type the number in their computer and they would've known who he was, but I never heard from them again.

I'll never make that mistake again.

I don't have much fun on highways, and the only time I'm on busier roads is if the place I'm going is on that road. Otherwise I'm always on back roads anymore.
