So I was riding to my gf's house about 3 miles away and got there fine and dandy. Parked the bike and got off. Came back out and bike wouldn't start. Wtf? Evidently, I have no clue how...But the positive battery terminal that goes under that screw somehow got loose. But the screw was tight as hell. It was connected when I left because otherwise the bike wouldn't have started.

I'm baffled.

Screw is tight and terminal loose. You've got either a stretched out terminal or someone replaced the terminal with one the wrong size. Never mined thinking cars here but still check the connections, they still can work their way loose.

You could put a paint bomb under the seat like the banks put in money. That way it'll be insanely easy to find out who it is.  Just look out in a crowd and find the person who's upper body is blue (or red if you like).

I like this idea....although you could just not let the bike out of your sight...it would mean however you would have to sleep with the bike, wash with it, everything really...or you could just go postal on anyone who even looks at your bike!

I think my first bike might've had those big old loops on the end of the battery wires, so I had to hold them to the side when I tightened them, but they were just the right size that you could jiggle them over the head of the bolt if they got loose.
