Even though he was a dealer of Harleys, we won't hold that against him.  He's well known in Florida, if not the nation, as a great guy with a big heart.

A good biker friend of mine (who died earlier this year) worked for Bruce Rossmeyer, and by all accounts, he was a heck of a guy and a giant of a human being.   He just couldn't seem to give enough to charities and the community.   We were having a little fundraiser and had asked him for some small thing or other that we could give out as a prize at a get-together, and he gave us something like $1,000 worth of gift certificates!   He was always willing to help someone in need.

He will be missed.
On those days when life is a little too much and nothing seems to be going right, I pause for a moment to ponder the wise last words of my grandfather:  "I wonder where the mother bear is?"

That sucks......
He was a friendly "Welcome to Florida" reminder to anyone who road-trips  I-95 regularly.

He was the guy on all of the Harley/Geico commercials down here right? Seemed nice enough when stopping by the dealer to see the HD merch. was hoping for a good pair of gloves but no armor so  :dunno_white:

Wow I read the article you posted he sounded like one heck of a guy. I am wondering had he been wearing a helmet if he would have survived? The guy was defiantly an experienced rider. It sounds like from the description of the accident it was just a freak accident that shouldn't have happend.

RIP Mr. Rossmeyer
