pdg108, it looks like yours should arrive any minute now!  The ones sent to Philadelphia were delivered an hour ago.

I agree - we really shouldn't have been given the tracking numbers.    :nono:

Yes, I've been watching from work, they are are "out for delivery".  Hopefully the UPS guy is planning on delivering them after 5:00.  If not everyone else will know I didn't make it in time.   :x

Not like its a rush or anything, forecast is calling for 4 to 8 inches of ice/snow tommorrow.  I won't be riding around any time soon.  But its the perfect time to take the bike apart and get it ready for the nice weather to come.

Gotta go....  :)

Yep they made it, right on time.  I already repainted them, came out really nice.  Now I just need to find time to get them put on the bike.

So if I go down to Cozy's does that mean it would be a "bar" fight?  :?

Sorry, couldn't help it.  :)

Good one... just dont tell the police I started it... And sorry to both you guys for posting the tracking #... But I post my address all the time... and I haven't got any letter bombs in 2+ years of GStwin and eliminator.org. So I guess its not that dangerous...

Thank you to Seshradi Sinrath for prompt delivery of good quality product.
So as not to be O/T - what drill bit type will go through that steel? It's pretty damn solid.  :dunno:

Its just steel... Well DOM steel is just a bit work hardened... but a decent drill will go through it like butter. I shaved off the plastic nubs on mine though. I found that if you shave it off rather clumsily, like it was chewed off... it grips the bar nicely. Shave it smooth and it doesn't. I did mine with a plier and nipper.

If the bit needs help, a drop of oil helps it cut faster. Any oil pretty much.
