Unfortunatly, 1992. Would like to go back to my old stomping grounds. My biological creators took me from the 'family' that raised me and brought me to Florida for the extra social security money!

I would absolutly love to ride out to the Ozarks one day or out around Hot Springs! I remember going out to Mt. Home it sure was purty in a car bet much better on a moto!

i used to live in Conway, Arkansas. went to highschool there my senior year.  planning on going back for the 10 year reunion in may.

Yeah Mary, you wouldn't recognize the town now. It's all growed up. There would be some good rides around Mountain Home and near Batesville where the foothills start. Good curvies.

Well, hopefully you'll get a chance to go back and visit. I get home about once every 3-4 months. I was actually heading back at the end of this month but it looks like that is getting postponed. Next time I go back, I'll take some pics and send them to you. Let me know if there is a specific area of town and I'll see if I can get some pics.

Don't forget " the pig trail" north out of conway.

There are some curves where you can see your own tail lights. 

I think they area was called Nettleton anyway hard to bring this up but it was the area of the school shootings. Lived about five miles from there out behind the Sonics and the old Twilight Zone arcade. Sure both are gone LOL! How bout the Indian Mall is it still there?

I lived out in Paragould for a long time now that was Hicksville! I was actually born in Blytheville, at Chickasabe (sp) hospital!

Ahhh, the old days were you could run around bare footed an no one looked at you like you were a hick cause we all were LOL!

Yep. Nettleton school was where my youngest graduated. It's on the highway between Blytheville and Jonesboro. The other school you might be thinking of was West Side.

The sonic on Nettleton is still there and lots of other stuff now. The Indian mall is vacant now except for Sears but they finally had a developer who built a new mall on that vacant corner of Stadium and Highland Dr. They figured that now that the town is "metropolitan" (above 50,000 people counting college students) they could afford to build that Target store, Chilis, Chick-fil-a, etc....

The funny thing is, it is probably the only place you will find where the corporate restaurants have to have a "private club" membership system to sell wine and beer and have a second entrance to the bar area. (Dry county.) Definitely a funny area. No clubs to speak of, no attractions unless you count Riceland, and no real industry.

Over the past few years they have really built up the college but I doubt it has grown in student population. (Dunno)

Yeah, I lived in Paragould as well for about 10 years. Other than that, always in Jonesboro. I travelled that whole region for a few years with work so I know most of the places you mentioned.

I'll have to locate the "pig" trail if I ever get back that way with the bike. That would be fun.

I lived in the small apartment complex behind that Sonic. For a whole summer I think I had their ham & Cheese sandwich everyday West Side was the school I was thinking of! I also went to North Elementary which I think has been buldozed  Was going to go to the Sixth Grade Academic center. Oh OH is the Earl Bell community Center still there I used to play b-ball and tennis there all the time and yes watch wrestling LOL!

Wow Jonesboro metropolitin when I lived there that woulda been an Oxymoron! ASU go Indians! Went to a few of their basketball games and such yeah they sucked and still do!

Yep. The Earl Bell is still there. Still a bit run down too.

The Indians are now the "Red Wolves" Some doo gooder just couldn't stand the idea that some young white kid was dressing up like an indian at the games and riding in on a horse. So now, they are the "Red Wolves" and they still suck.

Are you kidding me? The red wolves WTF is that? There are no wolves in AR let alone a red one! There actually are Native Americans in Arkansas unlike other states like Illinois with the Cleveland Indians! Sheesh I'm 1/4 Cherokee (didn't inherit the looks) but don't mind Native American themed teams. Big FSU fan! I think they should just name them the CRACKERS cause that is all that ever seemed to attend anyhow!
