Check the bike out obviously. Make sure the guy has a clear title. It would be worth about that much if it was a salvaged title. Likely so because people generally don't do all that cosmetic work just for bling, especially on a bandit. A GSXR maybe but then they'd be asking for more than the bike's worth.

Its prolly one of those "I just got transferred to europe and I got the bike with me" deals. BTW I am seeing lots of jobs in europe, but none that will "transfer me". So he must be one of those top level CEO types. Yea, one of the top level CEO's who lived in Pittsburgh and rode a bandit with a spider net on it.

How about that yokel that ended up buying that 94 yamaha yzf750 for $400, and then he turned around and was trying to sell just the front fairings on craigslist for $400. I've totally bought things and parted them out to make some money back when I really only needed one part of it, but that guy is out of his mind.

I like the guys who claim that a beat up old 1980's Nighthawk is "rare" and want like $3000 for it.
