Hello all. I am getting ever so close to having my bike on the road. Street legal and all. One of the things that I am still debating on is whether or not to install the Ducati Monster fairing that I got. I have started making some mounting brackets for it and can probably finish it without much hassle but each time I sit the fairing on the bike, I have doubts if I want it on there or not. I like the looks of it both ways and can't decide so I thought I would ask here and let your opinions help me. I'm going to run this for 3 days before the final tally.

Thanks,
CB

I voted without, but I like bikes naked, so it's just a preference. It doesn't look bad with it, and it's a big enough screen that it looks like it could do a good bit for you at speed.

mister

Without for me.

Also, if there is a doubt then there is no doubt. So, if you have doubts about it, then there is no doubt and it should be left off  :icon_mrgreen:

I like naked bikes too. That's the main reason I am torn.

Good point  Mister.

I voted without...  My 11-year-old son saw the without pic and said "Eww, with!  Definitely"  But if it was mine, I'd see if it actually does some good.  If so, I'd leave it on.  I'm a function over form kind of guy anyway.

Doesnt look bad with but I would have to go without.

I vote for with, as the gold bar looks out of place, and it looks like it is big enough to provide some protection

Okay, who voted for "Get a different one and sell this one to me" ? Don't tease, cause I just might do it.  O0 :thumb:

I vote without.  Not just because I prefer naked bikes, but I don't think it matches the lines of the bodywork, tank, and fender.  It doesn't really look like it belongs on the bike for that reason.  If you decide to go with a cafe fairing, try to find one that matches the bike better, not in color, but shape.  Bike looks fine otherwise, nice work!

It looks kind of bare without it.  Is the instrument cluster already installed on the bike?  If so, I'd say go with some sort of small screen.  If not, it should take up that extra space and it'd look better without.

Yep. I have a Veypor unit installed but I am still working out the mounting. Right now it looks like this:

but I am still working on the LED bar and it's mounting setup and some different details. Also waiting for the aluminum veypor case to come before I finish mounting it more permanently.
It's still going to be somewhat bare.
