I put clip-ons on my 99 and the stock brake line is to long. I want to put stainless steel braided brake lines on. I measered it out and the new lines will have to be in the 27"-28" range(compaired to stock 30"). It's about $50.00+ s&h for costom Goodridge lines out of denis kirk. Let me know if I have any cheaper options.
The right way is always the hardest, most expensive, and time consumming way.

why not just run the stock length and zip tie it down along its path to keep it from rubbing stuff...too much slack is not bad, too little IS.

I have an UFO oregon head light/turn signal set-up on my bike and with the clip-on there is not much clearence. any bow in the line b/c of extra will not let me properly adjust my right clip-on. I recall reading in a post while searching for brake line info tha the SS(?) or some brand that started with S , seemed to come up short with stock handle bars but not with clip-ons. This is a generic line made for stock GS but is made short. Any help would be nice. :dunno_white:
