do u guys think its worth fixing a wrecked bike and selling it or just sell it as it is? i might sell the cbr f3 i just bought and im not sure if itll fetch much more if i fix it and sell it or just sell it...
i kinda want to fix it b/c i wanna take it out for a spin or two or three or nine...also i could point out some problems to the buyer....
Don't mind me I'm just new.

Depends on what needs to be fixed.  If its minor, I say fix it.  If its major, I say don't fix it, subtractit from your final price.

There are two main points in selling as I see it - 1) you first need to SELL the bike 2) you want to sell the bike for as much as possible.

In NY, I would wait until late April/early May when the MSF classes are full and people can't wait to get into biking.  Then I think you'll be able to get both of these goals accomplished.

You need to tell us what needs to be fixed though.

Pick up a new skin and bracket on ebay. keep an eye out for deals and you should be able to replace the panels and bracket for under $150.
