They are great, I test rode one when I was looking for a new bike cause a friend was selling it and that was why I decided definitely a GS was better to start on, i opened the throttle once just to see, not even WOT and I knew I could screw that up a lot easier than the GS i rode a couple days previous, still wouldn't mind having one but the daytona 675 is first, then a duck 748 .... so I will get one maybe if my GSXR dies and i can't find anything on the list or i would have at least 3 or 4 bikes before and having that many of the same type of bike is divorce territory

One of my friends had one years ago. I wish I would've taken it for a test ride. The most I ever did was a small loop around a parking lot so he could hear his exhaust. At that point in time I though it was rediculously ugly though, and wouldn't have cared as much for a ride. It wasn't until I've stared at so many Z1000s that I've started to warm up to them. I don't know why that design only lasted for 2 years because they look much better than any of the zx6rs that came before or after that version(which I'm aware is only my opinion).
