Hey all,

A friend of mine is really into photography and photoshop editing and he recently made this motivational poster of me. I'm sitting on the family HD Dynaglide Sport (FXDX), before I sold it in 7/09. I thought you guys would appreciate it.

Oh yea looks great ... but the caption should read ...

Freedom: The choice to, or no to pick up parts that have fallen off.

Bwahahahahahahahahahaha .... hahahahahahahah ... hahahahahaha h

Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

You need to compare similar age/history/maintenance schedule. Cant compare a 2005 Dyna that has been maintained by a shop every week, owned by a lawyer who rode 12 miles every sunday when the weather was perfect to a 15 year old GS that was trashed by a punk kid and never maintained if it didn't involve a hammer.

BTW the bike I have had the most parts fall off was my XS650. In the short month I owned it
back in 05 I have lost numerous bolts, bulbs, decals, fuses and worst of all, a pair of relays.
Seriously, it vibrated like a paint shaker.

i know a guy with an '03 Dyna Lowrider. nice bike. in the 2 years or so that he's owned it, he hasn't had any problems at all with it. most serious things he has had to do to it was change the plugs and clean the carbs after letting it sit over the winter.  :dunno_white:

I'm pretty sure the OP didn't intend for this to turn into a HD bashing thread.  He posted a great photo which describes something I think all of us will agree is a universal part of motorcycling.

Let's stick to the topic rather than bash his (former) ride, shall we?  It isn't very productive.

Haha thanks Geep. Its true though, I just thought it was a cool picture, not a Harley advert. I had fun riding the Harley around, it was big and torquey and comfortable. Not my style though. Too heavy for my taste, it was impossible to back it up if there was the slightest hill. The little GS is more fun for me to ride around and I paid less than 1/6th of what I sold the Harley for, haha!   :icon_mrgreen:

Yea sorry, forget "for sale thread dumping", we need to ban "happy thread dumping" ... I hate those guys that do that ... If I ever get my hands on the guy that did that, I'll beat him up like a popli kid against Nelson Muntz and the other 2 thugs in simpsons.

I like the poster... though it kinda looks like he's sitting side-saddle on that bike-horsey thing!

For some reason, the first thing I thought of is "That is a bad ass poster!"
The second thing I thought of is "That guy looks like Eddie from Rocky Horror in that picture!

Sorry dude, couldn't help it :)   AWESOME picture, though...really cool job!
