today i woke up early in the morning to go work on my bike because i had to take it to canadian tire (auto parts and other stuff ) for some kind of test since i bought my bike in the US...anyway, i came to my cousins house (that's where my bike is) with a friend and his pickup truck to take the bike to canadian tire...the reason is because i don't have plates, insurance and i didn't think my bike would start...

well just like everything i do, something had to go wrong....the gas was leaking since the tank petcock gasket was bad so i fixed that and then tryed to start my bike....
not only did it start, it ran great....

btw, i didn't ride without a helmet and my gear because i'm a squid, but because i forgot my gear at home....

i still have some more things to work on (paint) and loosening the throttle cable because it revs to 6000 rpm everytime i turn the handlebars to the right....also got to change the brakes....at the end i rode my GS to canadian tire  :o it was -4 celsius

thanks to everyone on this forum for helping me....if it wasn't for this site maybe i wouldn't buy a GS and for sure wouldn't be able to do all the work i didn't so far on it......special thanks to kerry and bob broussard
