Loose speedo cable clip, missing fender brace screws

Need some help, guys.

In this photo (front wheel, left side) you can see a clip dangling loose on the speedo cable. Where does this clip go?

In this photo (front fender, viewed from right rear) you can see two screws are missing from the two back corners of the fender brace. Does this "fender brace" actually brace the fork legs so missing two screws makes the fork less rigid, or is this fender brace just holding up the fender and not really brace the forks? In other words, do you loose front end rigidity if the "fener brace" is removed altogether? Can you get these screws from regular hardware stores?

I installed reguler 10mm head bolts on mine.  take one out, and go match it up at a hardware store, or auto parts store.  they probably wont look the same, but they will work the same.

My bike is missing those same 2 screws and i went to the dealer to try and order them and they weren't coming up on any of their part fiches.  I just bought a new beefier fork brace from chuck81 and think it came with all the bolts but i haven't installed it yet since i am lazy/busy.

Yes $40 shipped for a brace from me and it has the bolts in the pack.
Sorry you cant get the bolts only, I dont care about selling em to you, but they will be too long and go through the bottom and punch your fender.
Cool.

Even though your clip is a little different it goes in the same location. See picture below:

The clip is secured by the left rear brace bolt which in your case is missing. Hope this helps.
