The pile of snow around my bike is almost small enough to be conquered.  Assuming things keep melting I'm gonna need to get the bike to a shop for a few things.  Can anyone recommend a good shop or mechanic in Brooklyn or downtown Manhattan?

Thanks,

Seth

Some basic stuff - new sprocket and chain, for example - I can do myself, but I'm limited on anything more difficult by having no place to work.  I live in a Brooklyn brownstone.

Main thing I need to have looked at seems like an alignment problem or something.  The bike has a slow back-and-forth sway to it at pretty much any speed, almost like I can't quite get my balance right.  But I'm pretty sure that's not it. :)  And it feels a little squirmy in sweeping corners.

King's Cycles is not too far from Downtown Brooklyn. It took me about 15 minutes to get there from Atlantic Plaza. My friend had his Hawk GT repaired there, and he said they did a pretty decent job without overcharging.

I heard http://www.cycletherapynyc.com/ is pretty good but a bit pricey...they have like a 50 bike showroom or something so its fun to just go and sit on everything...
its somewhere near the lincoln tunnel i think (haha nice directions)
west 11th ave and around 34th st. i think the website should have the address
Don't mind me I'm just new.
