I saw this ad and am seriously considering getting it.  Has anyone here ever owned or taken a ride on one?  Opinions please.

i have neither owned nor ridden that particular model but i have ridden BMWs with that engine and known many BMW die-hards that have other models with the 1200 boxer engine and they are reliable as hell.  the only problem any of the had was when they lowsided with gusto and had to replace a valve cover, If i remember they were quite expensive to replace.

I love that bike, however there is also a Triumph america around here for a pittance that the clown tried to mod for FI cos his carb crapped out ... keihein CVK garbage, yea ... same as the eliminator/concourse and I can fix it in my sleep with out using my hands ... I really oughta get ... neither, but y'all know, I never make the sane descision.

I called the seller yesterday and it looks like it was sold pending pick-up.  Apparently great deals dodn't last very long.  Oh well, but now that I have seen the bike, I'll be looking out for another deal on that model.

I saw one of those used at the beemer dealer in laurel and fell in love.  One day I'll get one.  One popped up on CL for like $4500 and it's probably good I didn't have the cash...
