Speedos usually fit pretty snugly. Make sure you get the right size. You might have to do a little wiggle to get into them.

Please oh please don't get the super short ones.

or you might need to add a littlte bit of rubber to make it sung.  or remove material from the bracket a little bit if the hole is too small

You will probably need to modify the GSXR speed sensor..... Wait, the GSXR speed sensor is in the transmission, right?  Ok, I don't know.   :dunno_black:

To give you a real answer...

The speed sensor for the GSX-R is on the front sprocket. The speed sensor for the GS is on the front wheel.

It won't work without retrofitting a sending unit onto the front sprocket.

Not worth it, in my opinion.

Ok, I thought about this one some more.  Maybe, MAYBE you could adapt the front wheel part from, say, a SV650 onto your GS wheel.  That will send pulses to the GSXR speedo.  Might be the right kind of pulses, might not be....  Then, to get the speedo to read correctly, you will have to get the pulses to get to the GSXR speedo at a rate of 9.26 per revolution.

Good luck with that.
