I'm running out of ideas. Ugh.  :flipoff:

How about your bike next to a brewery?

If this doesn't work, then I give up and someone else can create a new challenge.

I've got a brewery in the city. So I could get this some time during the next few days... unless someone else gets it first  :icon_mrgreen: (We don't have Micro Brewery's in this country)

I get most of my ideas from things I see just riding around. Hardest part is remembering them all by the time I get back so I can write them in my List of possible challenges.

Your bike at a brewery.

Yeah. Australia is pretty much crap for good beer, from what I've heard. You should get yourself over to America.

I live in the state of Queensland. This is an unusual state where the people have been subjected to State Patriotism. The talking bobble heads (news readers) often mentioned "our great state". If something happens with Australians you're likely to find the newspaper headline reading... Queenslanders Blah Blah Blah. It's quite noticeable when people come from a different state.

As such, this state pretty well drank one single beer. It's pronounced "Fourex" because on the can is XXXX. And for the longest time the ONLY beer a person could buy "on tap" was XXXX. Pubs hardly sold other beers even in cans or bottles. And it wasn't really until failed Rich Bloke Allan Bond bought the brewery and the license to go with it that sold it into all pubs within the state, that other beers like Victoria Bitter were available on tap.

There used to be a Fosters brewery in Brisbane years ago - and the Fosters it produced tasted bloody awful compared to that made in Sydney due to the different water. But that has since closed down. While another brewery did open up selling his own label beer but that has since been bought out too [Edit - just found out today, it was bought out by the Fosters company].

Understand, Australia's total population is only a tad over 20 million people, while geographically the country is as large as the USA. So the USA has 15 times Australia's population for the same land size.

And I would Love to get back to the USA. I was there years ago and would very much like to get back there.

In the meantime... a brewery somewhere awaits a keen rider with a camera  :icon_mrgreen:

Aparantly, this one - The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary http://www.koala.net was voted one of the top ten zoos in the world... according to their webpage. I don't know, looks kinda daggy to me. But then again they reckon they've been around since 1927...

Yeah. Australia is pretty much crap for good beer, from what I've heard. You should get yourself over to America.

Some/most of the mainstream beers down here are really bad but most of them are not as bard as budweiser (IMO), the beer developed to appeal to the largest possible number of people good for business not good for beer, they did this by brewing a beer with all the real beer flavors taken out (i has no hops or malt flavors and there is no character from the yeast and it lacks body), there is however really good beers brewed from smaller/independent brewery's in both country's and they are the beers i drink when i am not making my own.

Hmmm now to find a WRX
Silver 2006 GS500F
GStwin decals, K&N Lunchbox, Jardine Exhaust, 22.5/60/142.5, Vortex clip-ons.

Statistics are like a bikini - what they reveal can be interesting, but it's what they conceal that really matters.

OK WTF is a WRX? You need to give more information then just an acronym sheesh!

Remember it has to be something we all can play wanker.

yooblonder

The WRX is Subaru's rally car, made (more) famous a few years ago by the late Colin McRae (one of Scotland's sons) before he moved over to driving a Ford Focus.

Normally produced in blue, but often with gold wheels - yuck!

Hopeully they dion't sell them in Australia - gives the rest of us a chance to get the pic first !!!!!!!  My bike's back on the road again... woo-hoo.
