I've been trying for a while to get my DOS version of Starfighter 3000 to work with XP...anyone got any pointers?

Dosbox is an emulator for running dos games on pretty much any platform.  I believe it is free and is one of the goto programs for running dos games these days (outside of an old Win 3.11 box 8) )

EDIT:  Looks like Starfighter is only in the 'runnable' state (as of 2007), but it still might be worth a try to get it going.

I did some looking into dosbox and found where it only claims it's "runnable"...but it's the 3do version.  I have the PC/DOS version.

Anyone know of something that fully emmulates DOS 6.1?

VMWare looks like it might work, but also looks like a large undertaking to setup.  I'll try that as a last resort.
