It's 66 and overcast here in Orlando, supposed to be 65 and sunny tomarrow...

All these Olrandoians walking around in winter jackets, hoods, gloves...

That's how it is here, too. You know it's been too cold when you think it's balmy out, and it's only 12 degrees! It is supposed to get into the 40's on Thursday, and I swear there will be people out in shorts having barbecues!

I want to scream SHUT UP!!!

I should have taken the time to shovel my driveway this morning, but I didn't!  So now I will have compacted snow thats impossible to remove.

When is spring here again?  If we shoot the groundhog then he can't see his shadow...will it help?   :dunno:

Well you dont have a bike so what you complaining for...
Anyway I totally get what he was saying. I am dreading the NC summer already, and its just strated to get warm... Try 90 degrees in 95% humidity and no breeze to speak of. And people ask me is it cold to ride... I have half a mind to tell them, you can wear clothes for cold, what do you do for the heat and humidity.... Anyway I managed more miles this winter than I did last summer, and never once got soaked in the rain.

Niiiice!   ;)

I nearly put my battery back in my bike on Saturday to take her for a spin.  It was a balmy 40 degrees out!

It times like this that make me wonder why I moved back up here from Williamsburg VA.  Hell if I were there I could ride more!  But I know what 95 degrees with 95% humidity spells out... heat index of 120!  OMG hot hot hot!  No AC on a bike.  OK I don't miss that so much, but it makes here seem that much colder.  I kinda got used to the heat down there.   :dunno:   I miss VA.   :(
Gonna visit in April though!!!     Without my bike...  :(

hey vegbiker, what part of Washington are you in?  It was up into the 60's in here in south king last week.

Isotech

Its kinda funny but vegbiker works in the same building as me. Last week the temps got into the 54-58 range, with beautifully sunny skies. I was waiting for my non-bleed 40 pilots to come via UPS ground.
It got nasty again after I installed then this weekend.

Thanks for reminding me, of last weekd wheather....  :x

Oh well look like an Aerostitch sort of day  :thumb:

dgyver

It won't be long before everyone is complaining about how hot it is. Going to to be in the low 60's this weekend, time to take the tiller out.  :)
Common sense in not very common.

This is how spoiled we are in the winter.  The forecast for tomorrow is "Cold".  Can you beleive "we" think the upper 50's to lower 60's is cold.  This is why I happen to love AZ "Cold weather".

It is the hot weather that makes biking in AZ a bit uncomfortable.  I happen to live in the lowest part of Arizona.  I am greatful that I never have to see temperature in the 110 - 120 range. :?

Have fun guys and gals  :thumb:

I think I have refered to it that way from time to time but I can't take credit for coming up with it.

Soda cans really like to burst in the heat too. A student brought a full can with him to class, set it down next to the bike he was working on outside. He decided not to open it because it wasn't cold after about 5 minutes sitting on black asphalt so he left it there. About an hour later the thing started hissing and then poped and sprayed everyone and everything with hot soda.
