Does anyone know if the gas cap, ignition and seat lock from a 2007 will work on a 2002?

speaking of later year gs500...does the side and rear frame covers/plastics fit on a 98 gs500e? I guess id need a newer style seat too if they did fit?

they will fit, but not just bolt right up.  you will have to come up with all new brackets for them.  then the seat wont fit, so you change the seat too, then the seat may or may not fit the tank, so that will look awkward, but work.  then you will have the tabs hanging down from the tank that served as mounting points for the old tail plastics.  or grab a tank too, then they will all fit, but it cost you over 300 bucks
