The extra five minutes to slap on boots is a lot less then the six weeks on crutches and two months of physical therapy three times a week! Not to mention the money savings!

Depending on what you get it would be even easier to wear the riding boots. The combat boots I'm going to have to start wearing again need tied the whole way, and it's going to cost me 5 minutes just to put them on. Most riding boots are just velcro and only take 10 seconds to put on. My boots being waterproof also was a huge incentive. I hate wet feet, and knowing I never had to worry about it because my normal riding boots were waterproof was was horribly convenient.

True TT mine Zip and velcro so they take about the same now.  :whisper: never go anywhere in a hurry bad things seem to always happen!
If I'm running late I take the car I get in trouble on the bike.

bicycle is the quickest way for me to get anywhere when I'm in a rush living in the city. I can run redlights, skip stop signs, and weave in and out of traffic as much as I want without even getting a second look from traffic cops. The best part is it can all by done in shorts and tennis shoes!
