Ok so I am having painsin my left wrist area - like seizing sharp pains, cant shift well...

I want to make my clutch 'easier'...what to do?? I played with it a bit but it messes up the 1st gear shift like when pop it into first...I want the bike to like "crack"...other times it just goes in softly, which is not normal right?

How do I set the clutch cable correctly?? And make it 'easier', so that the point it has resistence, when pull back the clutch is earlier..?

i dont beleave there is a "soft" setup for the stock clutch purch and lever.  it has to be set to spec so that it doesnt jump when you put it in gear or slip when you let out the clutch.  with that said you can find whats called an E-Z pull clutch setup on ebay that changes your purch and lever all together making it a much softer pull i think they say up to 75% easier pull then stock only thing is you will have to hard wire your neutral safty switch if you go this route.  hope this helps some.

So the only option is the 12-15mm of freeplay...and thats it?

How do I lube the clutch cable btw?

joshr08

i always just take the top cable off and spray lube down the cable let it soak in and spray again until it comes out the bottom takes a bit of time but works.
